Our Mission 

ecostems is a protest. A protest against an unsustainable floral industry, exploitative employment practices and sterile urban spaces. We make it our duty here to show the sustainable side of floristry. We maintain very high standards with our flowers, plants and merchandise.  Our employment, wage, transportation, packaging, waste, energy and water use standards set the bar for our industry. ecostems was founded with environmental and social sustainability at its core. We walk the talk!

We do things differently. No compromises. When the ecostems team arrive at work in the morning, we are not just coming to a job, but a career. We have passion for the floral and botanical art we create and take pride in our skills and knowledge. Our flowers are real, our plants are real, and we, as floral designers, as horticulturists, and as people, are real. A lot of heart and soul goes into the work that we do, and we believe that that effort should be recognized. We stick to our social and environmental principles and, unlike most retailers, we reserve the right to say “no.”
