Spring has sprung! The month of May is here and it brings a whole lot of floral beauty. Here's a few things you can look forward to throughout the month:
The biggest floral occasion in May is Mother’s Day. Don’t forget to show some love and appreciation for the mothers in your life! This year it's Sunday, May 12th, and delivery slots fill up fast so it's smart to pre-order to make sure she gets your lovely gift. You can even send flowers on the Thursday, Friday, or Saturday so she can enjoy them all weekend. You can also pre-order for pickup at the shop!
A lot of new flower varieties come to our flower cooler in May: Peonies are now here, and other summer favourites like Dahlias, Cornflower, and Scabiosa will arrive before much longer. Spring bulbs like Tulips and Hyacinths are reaching the end of their season, so if you love them, come grab some before they're gone until next year!
May 20 is the Victoria Day holiday: are you making plans for the long weekend? We'll be closed on the Monday, but open on the Saturday and Sunday for all your floral and houseplant needs.
